Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service

It's fun and easy, well at least it's easy if you follow the quick and easy checklist below.

By performing simple routine seasonal maintenance on your Refrigeration or Air Conditioning equipment it will increase it's performance, save money, and extend the life of your equipment by 20%. Prior to servicing any HVAC or Refrigeration equipment be sure to turn off electricity to the unit you will be servicing by pulling out the disconnect fuse holder or switching off the breaker to the units.

Commercial Refrigeration Units:

  • Clean condenser coils regularly with water
  • Verify Condenser fan motors are operational
  • Lubricate fan motors with machine oil
  • Clean evaporator coils regularly with a bristle brush
  • Check all electrical connections for bare or damaged wiring

HVAC Units:

  • Change air filters regularly
  •  Lubricate motors and shaft bearing twice a year with machine oil
  •  Wash outside condenser coil twice a year with water
  •  Remove any debris around outdoor condensing unit
  •  Inspect main electrical connection to units for cracks or bare wires showing, if electrical is showing signs of corrosion or damage, call Perfect Temperature for support in resolving this matter

After you have finished performing the routine Preventative Maintenance be sure to turn the power back on. Wait for the equipment to turn on and watch to make sure that everything is operating properly, fans are turning, and everything sounds normal.
